FAQ Assistant: privacy and service terms

Updated September 30, 2026. This notice covers the Repondea FAQ Assistant service and WordPress connector.

What the service does

You provide public FAQs and approve their answers. An AI classification service chooses one answer or a contact fallback. It does not generate a reply, access your other tools or perform customer actions. A choice can be wrong: test your FAQs before publishing and keep them current. You are responsible for the content you publish.

Information processed

Repondea stores your account email, FAQ texts and source links, public assistant name and contact URL, sign-in token hashes, subscription identifiers and monthly counters. Published FAQ answers can be seen by any visitor to your public assistant; do not upload confidential or sensitive data.

When a visitor asks a question, the question and current FAQ texts are sent to OpenRouter and its TypeSafe decision provider. The model selects an answer. Repondea does not store visitor questions or chat transcripts. Our web server keeps technical access logs, including IP addresses. No advertising pixel or analytics cookie is added by the widget or plugin. The sign-in cookie is used only for your account.

External providers

Account access emails use Gmail; subscriptions use Stripe. AI selection uses OpenRouter and TypeSafe. Processing location and provider retention are not represented as exclusively European or as zero retention. Do not submit data requiring those guarantees.

Plans and cancellation

Free: one assistant, 10 FAQs and 30 questions per calendar month. Pro: one assistant, 50 FAQs and 1,000 questions per calendar month, €9/month through Stripe. Calendar months use UTC. Questions without an answer count. Service failures refund the question quota. No paid overage or automatic top-up. You can manage or cancel a subscription from the account billing link. On downgrade only the first 10 FAQs are used and the free question limit applies; your other FAQs remain stored.

WordPress connector

The plugin is GPLv2 or later and requires this external service. No connection is made until the site administrator explicitly enables it with a public assistant ID. The assistant frame loads when the visitor opens it. No website content is imported automatically. Plugin publication in the WordPress directory requires its own approval.

Control and support

Edit, remove or unpublish your FAQs from your account. For account/data removal or a billing problem, contact [email protected]. FAQ text is removed when you remove an entry; security backups may retain previous copies. Use the contact link supplied by the assistant owner for a personal customer request.
